Required and Elective Courses
The required foundation and clinical courses, together with the elective courses and all practica available through the program, are presented below. The program curriculum is designed to be completed in four years by regular students. Students entering with a master’s degree (advanced standing students) could complete the core curriculum in three years. Regular students take elective courses during their fourth year in the program. Our curriculum includes all competencies for the training of clinical psychologists proposed by the National Council of Schools and Programs in Professional Psychology and is updated periodically according to the accreditation requirements of the American Psychological Association.
