SCP 6230 - Research Methods and Statistics

(3 Credits)

The student will obtain an in-depth exposure to psychological research methods through this course, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed approaches. The type of statistics applicable to the analysis of data obtained from these methods is discussed. The students will utilize statistical computer programs to process data and obtain statistical values, and qualitative analysis software to prepare and analyze the qualitative data. By the end of the course the student will be able to write the methodology section of a research project related to clinical and school psychology field.
