Student Audit Policy

Ponce Health Sciences University recognizes that individuals may choose to enroll in courses for personal or professional development without seeking academic credit. To promote this goal, the University allows students to register as auditing students in accordance with the following guidelines. This policy details the requirements, procedures, and conditions for admission as an auditing student.

Policy

Applications for admission as an auditing student must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the start of the academic term in which the applicant intends to enroll. Each application must be accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee of $93.00. Applications are valid for one academic year; if a student does not enroll within that period, the fee is forfeited.

To be considered for admission, applicants must submit:

  • A completed application form
  • A current CV

Applications that remain incomplete will result in administrative withdrawal. Authorization from the Vice President for Academic Affairs or their designee is required before registration. Students may not audit more than three (3) courses in total.

Auditing students are subject to the following conditions:

  • Tuition is charged at 100% of the standard per-course rate.
  • No additional student fees are applied.
  • iPads are not provided.
  • Examinations are not required.
  • No academic credit or grades are awarded.
  • Not eligible for financial aid.

This policy applies to both current Ponce Health Sciences University students and external applicants.

All inquiries and applications should be directed to the Office of Admissions.
