BIO 2032 - Microbiology for Health Sciences Lab


(2 Credits)

This course addresses the study of microbial life on Earth, including microbial cell biology, growth and metabolism, genetics, diversity and evolution, environmental effects, and the interactions between microorganisms and high forms of life. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between microorganisms and humans and current efforts to track and control infectious diseases. Sixty (60) laboratory hours.
