NUR 3122 - Nursing Informatics and Globalization


(3 Credits)

This course explores the intersection of nursing informatics and global health, examining how technology and information systems influence healthcare access, delivery, and outcomes worldwide. Students will analyze global health systems, policies, and challenges, considering the role of technology in addressing health disparities and improving population health. The course emphasizes critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and the ethical considerations of utilizing technology for patient care. Students will develop skills in using health information technology for data analysis, decision-making, and the implementation of effective interventions.  Forty-five (45) lecture hours.
