This course aims to develop advanced knowledge of evidence-based theoretical models used to treat various conditions in children and adolescents. Students will learn specific strategies to apply these theories in interventions that promote socio-emotional and behavioral functioning within the school community, considering biological, cultural, and social influences. Additionally, they will gain a solid understanding of how behavior can be altered through interactions with the environment and will learn to design behavior modification programs based on operant, classical, and social learning approaches.
