The clinical manifestations and cognitive, behavioral, and educational implications of these disorders in the school setting will be analyzed, using both DSM and ICD classification systems. Students will learn about the current diagnostic criteria for disorders such as attention deficit, autism spectrum disorders, learning disorders, and others, as well as the complexities of co-occurring disorders and differential diagnosis. Additionally, screening tools and evaluation strategies will be introduced, alongside neuroscience-based approaches to create supportive environments that promote optimal achievement for neurodiverse students.
