NUR 3150 - Nursing Research (3 Credits)
This course provides students with a foundational understanding of nursing research principles, methods, and ethics. Students will explore various research designs, data analysis techniques, and the process of generating and testing nursing theories. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and ethical considerations in conducting research. Students will gain proficiency in accessing and utilizing research literature and complete the National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification in the Protection of Human Subjects in Research. The course will also emphasize the use of technology and practical communication skills for disseminating research findings. Forty-five (45) lecture hours.
